Job summary

Element451 is the AI-native CRM and agent platform built for higher education. As a Customer Success Engineer you’ll blend post-sale support with technical depth, triaging escalations and ensuring clean handoffs from Implementation.

You’ll be the technical backbone for AMs, answering platform questions, guiding configurations, and coordinating with Support and IT on complex issues. The role emphasizes ownership, coaching, and scalable enablement.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in a technical, customer-facing role in B2B SaaS.
• Direct experience with a higher education CRM is strongly preferred.
• Strong discovery and requirements translation skills.
• Solid understanding of CRM configuration, workflows, and reporting.
• Ability to speak credibly with IT and Enrollment Ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Own implementation-to-CS handoffs and ensure clean documentation.
• Serve as primary technical resource for the CS team.
• Join customer calls on high-impact technical discussions.
• Coach AMs on platform fundamentals and integration concepts.
• Create repeatable enablement assets and best-practice patterns.
