Job summary

HTC Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE experience within an Asset Management Middle Office environment.

The role acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to support data management, performance measurement, reporting, and system enhancements. The candidate will perform SQL-based data analysis, data reconciliation, and data flows across Eagle modules, while coordinating testing and stakeholder workshops.

Qualifications

Strong experience with Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE in Asset Management Middle Office.
Oracle SQL and data analysis experience.
Understanding of the Eagle Data Model and SDLC/Agile methodology.
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow or similar tools; BI tool familiarity (Tableau, Power BI).
6+ years of overall experience, 4+ years with Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements from Middle Office stakeholders.
Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Prepare BRD, FRD, data mapping, and process flow documents.
Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews.
Coordinate testing: SIT/UAT and validation of performance calculations and reports.

Technical Business Analyst - Eagle STAR & Eagle PACE

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE within an Asset Management (Middle Office) environment. The candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to support data management, performance measurement, reporting, and system enhancements. The role requires strong investment domain knowledge, data analysis skills, and hands-on understanding of Eagle applications.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

Gather and document business requirements from Middle Office stakeholders.
Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Prepare BRD, FRD, data mapping, and process flow documents.
Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews.

Eagle STAR / PACE Functional Expertise

Work on Eagle STAR (Performance, Attribution, Reporting).
Work on Eagle PACE (Data ingestion, reference data, pricing, transactions).
Define and validate data flows across Eagle modules.
Configure or support panels, message center, uploaders/exporters, as needed.
Support enhancements and system upgrades.

Data Analysis & Reconciliation

Perform SQL-based data analysis (Oracle preferred).
Conduct data reconciliation between source systems and Eagle.
Analyze pricing, corporate actions, positions, and benchmark data.
Investigate performance discrepancies and explain results.

Middle Office Domain Support

Support performance reporting.
Support NAV validation.
Support security master management.
Work closely with Fund Accounting, Performance Teams, and Portfolio Managers.
Assist in month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles.

Testing & Validation

Prepare test cases and execute SIT/UAT.
Coordinate UAT with business users.
Validate performance calculations and reports.
Support production release validation.
Liaise with Eagle vendor support.
Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Provide status updates and issue tracking.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with:
- Eagle STAR
- Eagle PACE
Oracle SQL and data analysis experience.
Understanding of the Eagle Data Model.
Experience with SDLC and Agile methodology.
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE, or other BI tools.
Knowledge of:
- Asset Management / Investment Management
- Middle Office operations
- Performance measurement (TWR, attribution basics)
- Securities (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives preferred)
- Pricing and Corporate Actions
- Benchmark data handling
6+ years of overall experience.
4+ years of experience working with Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE.
Experience analyzing production tickets and providing gap analysis and solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in an Asset Management or Hedge Fund environment.
FactSet or Bloomberg exposure.
Performance Attribution experience.
Data migration or transformation experience.
