Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to design and develop analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on building Power BI dashboards, data analysis, and scalable reporting while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or related field.
• Experience with Power BI, Azure, Python, ETL, GCP, and dashboards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate requirements into BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports through full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate into BI solutions.
• Design and build persona-based dashboards for portfolio performance, milestones, risks, KPIs, and financial metrics.
• Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, measures, relationships, and reusable components.
• Design intuitive dashboard UX with clear information hierarchy and accessible layouts.
• Support data integration and modeling across multiple enterprise data sources.
• Develop data models and reporting solutions for future automation and governed data refresh.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and source-to-dashboard checks.
• Analyze change requests, prepare test cases, and support UAT.

Job Title

Business Intelligence Specialist (Power BI)

Overview

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to design and develop analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience building Power BI dashboards, performing data analysis, and creating scalable reporting solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports through the full development lifecycle, including analysis, testing, documentation, and release support.


• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.


• Design and build persona-based dashboards that provide insights into portfolio performance, project execution, milestones, risks, dependencies, KPIs, financial metrics, and value realization.


• Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, measures, calculations, relationships, filters, drill-through functionality, and reusable reporting components.


• Design intuitive dashboard user experiences with clear information hierarchy, data storytelling, drill-down navigation, accessibility considerations, and maintainable layouts.


• Support data integration and modeling across multiple enterprise data sources as access becomes available.


• Develop data models and reporting solutions that support future automation and governed data refresh processes.


• Perform data validation, reconciliation, exception management, and source-to-dashboard accuracy checks.


• Analyze change requests and defects, assess impacts, create test cases, perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing, and document known limitations.


• Participate in design reviews, peer reviews, sprint planning, stakeholder demonstrations, deployment activities, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Bachelor's degree.


• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or a related field.
