Job summary

Mettler-Toledo Rainin in Raleigh, NC is seeking a solutions sales professional to drive growth for Rainin analytical instruments. You will support Sales Managers with technical demonstrations, addressing customer needs, and advancing high‑value opportunities from qualification to closing.

The role requires a biology or related degree, 4+ years in laboratory automation sales, strong negotiation and CRM proficiency, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related technical discipline.
• Bachelors with four+ years in direct sales of lab automation preferred.
• Experience with biological laboratory applications and workflows.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• CRM proficiency and MS Office competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to sales reps on high‑value opportunities from qualification to close.
• Collaborate with sales to engage targeted sites and position Rainin solutions.
• Deliver technical demonstrations and optimize workflows for customers.
• Analyze customer applications to show Rainin product advantages.
• Develop and drive strategic campaigns and robust sales pipelines.
• Support training and expertise within the sales team.
• Communicate differentiation of Rainin solutions compared to competitors.
• Contribute to process improvements and customer experience initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
