Studio Wildcard, the studio behind ARK: Survival Evolved, seeks a Technical Animator focused on Unreal Engine Animation Blueprints and Control Rig. You will own high‑impact animation systems for creatures, characters, and gameplay, with limited day‑to‑day C++ work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Technical Animator / Animation Programmer / Technical Artist on real-time animation.
• Expert in Unreal Engine Animation Blueprints with complex state machines and blends.
• Self-motivated, cross-disciplinary teamwork, and UE5 experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and implement animation systems using AnimBP and Control Rig.
• Create advanced Control Rig solutions (IK/FK, full-body IK, ragdoll blending).
• Develop animation systems for bipeds, quadrupeds, and fantasy creatures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and improve pipelines.
• Document processes and optimize performance for large ecosystems.
• Ensure scalability and quality across multiple animation systems.
