Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Technical Analyst I to support desktop devices and incidents. You will be the primary contact for end users, resolve requests, and escalate complex problems to senior staff.

The role requires diligence, strong troubleshooting, and collaborative teamwork. The position involves MACs, documentation and on-call rotation, with opportunities to train users on division technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a healthcare-related field preferred.
• One year of IT experience required.
• A+ and Microsoft product certifications preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Occasional intermittent local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve inquiries for assistance with division or facility computer systems, providing a superior customer experience.
• Analyze and provide hands-on support for simple to moderate inquiries.
• Log and track problems; review problem tracking databases.
• Perform facility-based moves, adds, and changes (MACs) as needed.
• Maintain documentation for each incident or request, and escalate complex problems to the next level.
• Aid and train users on division and facility technology.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a healthcare-related field
