Job summary

ServiceNow seeks a Manager, Technical Accounting, to join our Technical Accounting team in Santa Clara. This high-visibility role focuses on researching and documenting complex technical accounting matters, supporting active M&A activity, and related topics across the Finance organization.

You will collaborate with stakeholders company-wide, draft memos, monitor new pronouncements, and lead pre-LOI through post-close accounting efforts, including SEC reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA license required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience including Big Four or public company technical accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards; SOX 404 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and memo technical accounting issues with supporting GAAP guidance.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and analyze impact.
• Lead or support M&A purchase accounting and post-close integration."
• Prepare SEC disclosures and support quarterly/year-end close for technical accounting matter
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Corporate Development and external auditors on technical positions.
• Identify process improvements and potential AI-enabled accounting automation opportunities.
