Job summary

Evergreen Services Group, a San Francisco-based holding company, is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to own acquisition accounting and onboarding for new deals. You will review opening balance sheets, perform purchase price allocations, and coordinate with valuation providers and auditors, ensuring GAAP alignment.

You will lead the technical accounting agenda across the lifecycle, develop scalable playbooks, and mentor accounting teams in complex GAAP matters within a high-velocity

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in PE-backed or acquisitive environments.
• Extensive ASC 805 materials experience and complex technical matters (ASC 606, 350, 810, 718).

Responsibilities

• M&A onboarding & ASC 805 purchase accounting.
• Lead review of ASC 805 opening balance sheets & PPA for acquisitions.
• Coordinate with valuation providers; review fair value analyses.
• Own onboarding program for newly acquired companies; develop playbook & deliverables.
• Serve as technical accounting lead throughout lifecycle; diligence to close.
• Build repeatable frameworks to scale deal volume.
