Job summary

LHH is seeking a Technical Accounting and SEC Manager to join our client in the SF Bay Area. The role blends technical accounting with corporate close, requiring collaboration with senior management and high-visibility deliverables.

The position is based in Marin County with a 4-day onsite / 1-day remote schedule, offering autonomy and opportunities to influence policy and ensure SEC readiness. CPA licensure or active pursuit is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA licensure or actively pursuing CPA status.
• Experience in public accounting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead 70% technical accounting activities including transaction research and policy memos.
• Oversee 30% corporate general accounting operations and monthly close.

Who You Are?

Technical Accounting and/or SEC Manager

CPA License or CPA License "Actively" In Process

Within this position, you will be responsible for partnering with senior level management, within a very high visibility capacity. This position is responsible for 70% Technical Accounting (including transaction research and publishing of accounting policy memos), and 30% corporate general accounting operations, financial calendar close.

What You Have Accomplished?

• You should possess ideally a completed CPA license or working towards the completion of your CPA license.
• You should possess experience from public accounting.
