LHH is seeking a Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager for its Cupertino hub, helping the company gear up for public markets. This role combines hands-on SEC reporting with complex accounting work, in a fast-paced, pre-IPO environment.
The ideal candidate is a CPA with deep U.S. GAAP knowledge and SEC experience, possibly from public accounting or industry. Expect executive visibility and ownership in shaping the company’s accounting infrastructure.
The Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager will step into a newly created opportunity at an exciting inflection point for a rapidly growing semiconductor technology company. With a targeted 2027 IPO on the horizon, this person will have the chance to help build the technical accounting and SEC reporting foundation needed for life as a public company. If you are a CPA who enjoys complex accounting, SEC reporting and the pace of a high-growth environment, this is a chance to make your mark rather than simply inherit an established process.
This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller, with exposure to the CFO and cross-functional partnership with FP&A leadership. This is an individual contributor today, making it an especially attractive opportunity for an experienced Technical Accounting Manager, SEC Reporting Manager, public accounting Audit or Advisory Manager, or Senior Manager who wants significant ownership and executive visibility.
As the Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager, you will become a key technical accounting resource as the organization moves toward public-company readiness, combining hands-on SEC reporting and complex accounting work with PCAOB Audit and IPO Readiness initiatives.
You will be based at the company’s Cupertino headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley and will work onsite four days per week, with one work-from-home day. With semiconductor and AI innovation throughout the broader Bay Area, this is an opportunity to work close to the business while helping a growing technology company navigate its next stage.
The strongest Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager candidates will bring a CPA along with deep U.S. GAAP technical accounting and/or SEC reporting experience. Particularly compelling backgrounds could include an Audit Manager, Advisory Manager or Senior Manager from public accounting with publicly traded semiconductor or hardware clients, ideally including IPO exposure, or a Technical Accounting Manager or SEC Reporting Manager who has built experience across both public accounting and industry. A Senior Accountant or senior-level SEC and technical accounting professional ready to step into Manager-level ownership may also be considered.
For someone who has spent years advising public companies, preparing SEC filings or working through complex accounting conclusions, the Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager offers something different: the opportunity to help build the infrastructure yourself. IPO Readiness, PCAOB Audit preparation, SEC reporting and technical accounting will all come together at a point when the work can have a visible impact on the company’s future.
The Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager offers a base salary of $160,000 to $190,000, along with the opportunity to join a growing technology company during an important chapter in its evolution.
