Job summary

Google in Austin, TX seeks a Specialized Record Supervisor to manage partner programs and device certifications for remote hardware. You will coordinate with transporter partners, define certification requirements, and oversee projects and risk management throughout the workflow.

You will serve as the liaison between external teams and internal groups, driving product and platform releases while applying remote-standards knowledge to understand, prioritize, and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Four-year certification in Software engineering, Electrical Designing, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of involvement with transporter accreditations and device certification.
• Knowledge of 3G/4G/5G and WLAN technology and standards.

Responsibilities

• Back and drive transporter and industry endorsements of remote gadgets in Japan.
• Communicate with internal and external partners on device-related technical matters.
• Investigate modem convention stack issues and aid design in making technical decisions.
• Create and maintain compliance grid documents for remote devices.
• Analyze new network features and gather stakeholder requirements for design and product teams.
