Job summary

IMCD Group is seeking a Technical Account Manager for the Nutrition Northeast region. This role serves as the client-facing expert, delivering technical guidance, training, and strategic support to drive retention and growth.

The position emphasizes deep product knowledge, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving to align technology with client business goals. Travel up to 50% and a hybrid work setup are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred field in Business, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ sales, technical, lab, customer support, or inside sales experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for existing accounts in the designated territory and identify new targets for growth.
• Conduct frequent planned visits, interacting with key customers.
• Provide deep technical support, troubleshoot issues, and guide product implementation.
• Proactively identify opportunities for upgrades and align technology with business objectives.
• Support sales by highlighting features and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Relay customer feedback to development teams to improve products.
• Educate clients on effective product usage through training sessions.
• Grow earnings per designated sales goals.
