The Technical Account Manager role is a client-facing expert that ensures clients successfully use complex products to meet business goals. This role acts as a trusted advisor for technical support, proactive problem-solving, training, and driving satisfaction, retention, and growth through strategic guidance and deep product knowledge.
Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred area of study in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical degree.
Minimum 2 years’ sales, technical, lab, customer support, or inside sales experience.
Strong technical aptitude in relevant products/industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Relationship management and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular).
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
