Job summary

SEI Investments Company is seeking a transactional attorney to draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts across multiple SEI business teams. You will handle a broad range of agreements, ensuring alignment with SEI's risk, governance, and regulatory standards while engaging with product, operations, and executives.

The role requires independent handling of routine matters under moderate supervision and strong judgment on higher-risk issues, with experience in financial services or fintech

Qualifications

• JD required and admitted to practice in one or more US jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting and risk management.
• Ability to educate internal clients and collaborate across legal and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage commercial contracts using SEI templates and standards.
• Independently handle routine contract matters with supervision for higher-risk issues.
• Educate internal clients on contractual positions and risk.
• Address legal, risk and business issues in commercial transactions.
• Apply regulatory changes to contracts and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Juris Doctor (JD)
