Job summary

SEI seeks a Junior Transactional Attorney to work with multiple SEI business teams and the Legal, Compliance, Risk and Corporate Development Department. You will draft, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial contracts, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance across SEI’s businesses.

You will partner with product, operations, and client teams to resolve complex issues while representing SEI’s interests in dealings with third parties.

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional/corporate matters and contract negotiations
• Ability to prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Detail oriented, collaborative team player with strong communication
• Authorized to practice law in one or more US jurisdictions
• Willingness to travel if necessary

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial contracts using SEI templates and standards
• Educate internal clients on positions and issues in negotiations
• Resolve legal, risk and business issues in transactions
• Apply regulatory changes to contracts
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and contract files
• Contribute to governance, compliance and third-party risk management
