Job summary

SEI seeks a Junior Transactional Attorney to draft, negotiate and manage commercial contracts across SEI business units. You will work with legal, compliance, risk, and corporate development teams to structure and execute agreements, including confidentiality, software licenses, MSA, services, SaaS and software development agreements.

The role involves educating internal clients, addressing legal and business issues, applying regulatory changes, and maintaining contract files while collaborating

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional/corporate matters.
• Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
• Detail oriented, flexible and a collaborative team player.
• Authorization to practice law in one or more jurisdictions within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiating and advising stakeholders with respect to commercial contracts using SEI templates and standards
• Educating internal clients with respect to the positions and issues that arise during contractual negotiations
• Working with internal clients to solve legal, risk and business issues that arise in commercial transactions
• Understanding and applying regulatory changes to new and existing contracts
• Managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects
• Participating in various activities related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and third party risk management
• Populating and maintaining contract files and repositories
