Job summary

Ryan is seeking a strategic Director, Talent Business Partners – Technology to lead the People Group function for the technology organization. This role partners with senior technology leaders to align talent management, employee relations, rewards, and policy development with business strategy.

It requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, and firm leadership. The position emphasizes driving workforce planning, immigration coordination, and performance-driven talent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required, with at least eight to 10 years of progressively responsible human resources management experience in a domestic and international environment.
• Significant experience supporting technology organizations is required, preferably within a large, complex, high-growth, or global technology company.
• PHR certification required; SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the management of employee relations and grievance issues including investigation, documentation, and resolution.
• Oversees immigration and coordination of expatriate assignments and employment visas in partnership with Legal.
• Develops and maintains workforce, talent, and succession plans for the technology organization, with focus on critical technical roles and leadership pipelines.
• Maintains strong communication and presentation skills to speak professionally to individuals and groups.
• Directs selection, evaluation, and supervision of direct reports.
• Partners with Technology leadership to translate business strategy into practical talent and organizational strategies.
• Advises leaders on attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining technology talent across software engineering, product, data and analytics, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and related disciplines.
• Ensures compliance with employment law and develops KPIs and dashboards for executive leadership.
