Job summary

Tripoint Solutions in Arlington, VA is seeking a driven Talent & HR Associate to lead technical recruiting while also supporting core HR operations such as onboarding and policy administration.

The role combines active sourcing, candidate engagement, and full lifecycle recruiting with secondary HR tasks; you will collaborate with hiring managers and maintain compliant HR records in a hybrid environment with onsite work two days per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in technical recruiting.
• 2+ years of HR generalist experience
• Strong understanding of technical roles (software engineering, IT, data, etc.).
• Experience sourcing candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience with HR Generalist or HR operations tasks.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms (ADP, Lever, Workday, etc.).
• Knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices.
• Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and employee data management best practices.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Technical Recruiting (Primary – ~70%)
• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and role requirements.
• Source and recruit candidates for technical roles including software engineers, IT specialists, data professionals, and other technical staff.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, and offer negotiation.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other sourcing tools.
• Track recruiting metrics and maintain accurate records in the ATS.
• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Support employer branding initiatives and job posting optimization.
• HR Generalist Support (Secondary – ~30%)
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with HR policies, compliance, and employee communications.
• Support employee lifecycle activities such as offboarding, benefits administration coordination, and internal HR programs.
• Assist with HR reporting and administrative tasks.
