Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a Technical Talent Advisor II to partner with Recruiting leadership, HR Partners and Technology Hiring Managers to deliver a viable talent pipeline. The role focuses on IT, Engineering, Data, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, and Salesforce positions.

The candidate will evaluate, interview, and present qualified candidates, update stakeholders, and extend offers in line with recruiting guidelines. Hybrid work with 2 days per week in office is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of HR policies and pre-employment procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of IT programs, systems and software.
• Detailed knowledge of company hiring practices.
• Understanding of recruitment process expectations by hiring managers.
• Advanced knowledge of technology solutions in hiring.
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
• Knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing and selection methods.
• Knowledge of performance standards and organizational development.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Experience posting requisitions and tracking candidate activity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for assigned roles.
• Sourcing active and passive candidates through multiple channels.
• Meet Talent Acquisition metrics for quality, cost, cycle time, diversity and compliance.
• Participate in special projects to improve Recruiting functions.
• Extend offers and manage pre-employment process per guidelines.
