Job summary

GM Financial, headquartered in Fort Worth, is seeking a Technical Talent Advisor II to partner with Recruiting leadership, HR, and technology hiring managers. The role focuses on full life cycle recruiting across IT, Engineering, Data, AI, Cybersecurity, and Salesforce, delivering a viable talent pipeline.

You will develop sourcing plans, assess candidates, extend offers, and guide pre-employment steps, while improving processes through special projects and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of HR policies and procedures related to employment and pre-employment
• Advanced knowledge of IT programs, systems, software, etc..
• Detailed knowledge of company hiring practices
• Complete understanding of individual hiring manager’s expectations of the recruitment process
• Advanced knowledge of technology solutions and their application within the hiring process
• Advanced knowledge of governmental employment law and regulations
• Advanced knowledge of statutory regulations (e.g., anti-discrimination laws, pre-employment screenings, interview techniques/limitations, etc..)
• Knowledge of behavioral based interviewing practices and other selection methods
• Advanced knowledge of employee performance standards and organizational development
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines
• Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Extensive knowledge of posting open requisitions, tracking candidate activity and maintaining compliance with required data fields
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Oracle iRecruitment, and online job posting/search engines
• Proficiency with leading small scale talent acquisition projects

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across channels to attract top talent.
• Directly contact active and passive job seekers to fill vacancies.
• Meet talent acquisition metrics on quality, cost, cycle time, diversity, compliance.
• Participate in special projects to improve Recruiting functions.
• Extend offers and manage pre-employment steps with candidates.
