Job summary

GM Financial, headquartered in Fort Worth, seeks a University Talent Advisor II to advance campus recruiting and intern programs. You will partner with academic institutions, military, and community groups to build a strong talent pipeline and support HR initiatives.

Responsibilities include campus events, interviews, relationships, and project work, with a flexible hybrid schedule (2 days in office). 3–5 years recruiting experience and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of recruitment regulations and anti-discrimination laws.
• Understanding of hiring manager expectations and process.
• Strong consultative, communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates and interns.
• Effective closing and intern conversion skills.
• Team-oriented, autonomous with deadlines.
• Experience leading recruitment projects.
• Proficient in sourcing across multiple platforms.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute campus recruitment strategies to promote GMF brand.
• Build relationships with faculty, career offices, students, military and community groups.
• Attend career fairs and information sessions to boost applicant rates.
• Plan and run on-campus events including interviews.
• Leverage alumni and Brand Ambassadors to support events.
• Advise hiring managers on talent pipeline development.
• Phone and in-person interviews.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
• Lead small-scale talent acquisition projects.
• Adopt tools like Handshake, iCIMS, HireVue, NACE.
