Job summary

National Center for Urban Solutions is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver day-to-day technology support across NCUS and partner groups. You will assist staff with Outlook/Teams, device setups, and basic training while maintaining ticket documentation and timely communication.

Responsibilities include diagnosing common IT issues, supporting MS 365 services, and coordinating with vendors for escalations. Collaboration with IT manager and applications staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree and 3 years IT experience
• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
• Industry-recognized credentials technology focused
• Tech-savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and security practices

Responsibilities

• Receive, document, prioritize, troubleshoot, resolve, and close technology support tickets.
• Provide courteous support by phone, email, remote-support tools, and in person for staff and other approved users.
• Diagnose hardware, software, connectivity, printing, audio-visual, and account-access issues; escalate when needed.
