Job summary

ITW Electronics Assembly Equipment (EAE) in Hopkinton, MA is seeking a technology-focused IT Help Desk professional to provide frontline support for hardware, software, applications, networking, and remote access. You will diagnose issues, manage service requests from report to resolution, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors.

Associates degree in Computer Science or related field.
2-3 years of experience in technical support.
Ability to independently resolve more complex issues requiring detailed systems and knowledge of company apps.
Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment and handle stressful situations.
Experience with Windows, Outlook, Remote Access support (VPN), Active Directory, MS Office, web-based applications, and networks.

Responsibilities

Provides support to company personnel by maintaining a general working knowledge of all applications to provide support when needed.
Supports employees for network/hardware issues, including resetting passwords and printers.
Accurately log incidents and service requests into IT Help Desk system.
Owns, monitors, tracks, and communicates status on incidents and requests to resolution.
Assists with adding new users and deployment of hardware, inventory management.
Regularly communicates with internal and external customers to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
