Job summary

Anchor Ingredients, headquartered in Fargo, ND, seeks an IT Support Intern to provide front-line help-desk support for employees at Anchor Ingredients and North Freeze Dry. This part-time role reports to the Senior Technical Lead and covers account administration, device support, and routine infrastructure tasks.

You will gain hands-on experience across office and manufacturing environments while following documented procedures, maintaining ticket notes, and assisting with system rollouts,

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed IT-related degree or certificate; practical experience acceptable.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365; able to learn procedures.
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills; good communication.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Handle help desk requests; gather details, troubleshoot, record actions, and escalate when needed.
• Support Windows laptops/desktops, printers, phones, and conference room tech; basic setup & troubleshooting.
• Assist employees with Outlook/Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint; explain solutions clearly.
• Assist with creating/changing/ disabling Active Directory/Microsoft 365 accounts; onboarding/offboarding checks.
• Prepare/configure computers; update inventory; coordinate secure device wipe and reuse.
• Assist with software deployments, patches, and device updates via RMM.
• Review server alerts, backup status, storage capacity, and service health; assist maintenance.
• Support basic network and security tasks, e.g., cabling, AP checks, and badge-system admin.
