Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee to begin with intensive onboarding and hands-on training, progressing to a Recruiter role. You will recruit IT consultants, coach candidates on market trends, and develop sourcing strategies using AI tools.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, data-driven decisions, and client advisory capabilities. You will engage in a comprehensive training program, gain exposure to a fast-paced recruiting cycle, and participate in a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience or Associates Degree with 3+ years in a customer-facing role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Desire for a commission-driven, performance-based environment

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the recruiting cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants by providing career coaching on market trends, labor rates, resume creation, and interviewing techniques
• Develop sourcing strategies using tools and in-house AI to identify talent for client requirements
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions in the recruitment process
• Advise account managers and clients on skill availability, rates, locations, and onboarding timelines
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates for clients
• Demonstrate knowledge within the aligned skill or industry specialization
