Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee to join our training program and later recruit top IT consultants for our clients. You will work with onboarding coaches to learn recruiting fundamentals and progress to a recruiter role.

You will build relationships, coach candidates, and leverage in-house AI tools to identify talent and market trends, while collaborating with account managers to meet client needs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience in a customer facing role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to engage stakeholders and candidates
• Desire for a career in a commission-driven, performance-based environment

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the recruiting cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants by providing career coaching and market insights
• Develop sourcing strategies leveraging tools and AI to identify best talent for customer requirements
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven recruiting decisions
• Advise account managers on skill availability, labor rates, and timelines for onboarding talent
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates for clients' needs
• Demonstrate knowledge within the aligned specialization
