Job summary

Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. in New York City is seeking a Senior Manager Sourcing and Category Management Technology to lead multi-year technology spend strategies across software, cloud, IT services, hardware, and security tooling.

You will own end-to-end sourcing events, manage major renewals, and partner with IT, Security, Finance, and Legal to turn roadmaps into effective sourcing strategies, driving savings and governance.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, with Technology spend.
• Experience negotiating complex technology agreements (software/SaaS, cloud, IT services).
• Strong commercial judgment on licensing, renewals, multi-year commitments.
• Proven ability to partner with IT, Security, Finance, Legal, and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end sourcing events for technology spend.
• Lead major renewals and enterprise agreements to control cost.
• Partner with IT, Security, Finance, Legal and business owners.
• Build category tools and dashboards for savings pipeline.
• Govern supplier relationships with KPI tracking and QBRs.
