Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Manager, Category Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for electrical, mechanical, IT, MRO, and facilities categories. The role manages a team of Category Sourcing Managers and reports to the Sr. Manager, Category Sourcing.

The position involves developing category strategies, negotiating complex contracts, and coordinating with business units to drive cost savings and risk mitigation across multiple data-center related spend categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, Engineering, Business Admin, or related field.
• 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain experience.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships >$50M annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop world-class category management strategies across assigned categories.
• Coach and develop a team of category sourcing managers to exceed expectations.
• Lead ongoing category management activities to meet objectives and targets.
• Ensure contract portfolios are current and robust across categories.
• Negotiate with vendors to improve terms and value.
• Support line of business and participate in QBRs with best practices guidance.
• Drive long-range sourcing plans to reduce costs and optimize supplier value.
