Job summary
Los Angeles Community College District seeks a Technology Services Specialist to provide journey-level technical support for computer hardware, software, and smart classroom equipment across multiple sites. The role includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user guidance to ensure reliable technology services for teaching and learning.
You will install and maintain hardware, manage access and licenses, assist with security standards, and collaborate with faculty.
Qualifications
- Requires knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and classroom technology.
- Experience with smart classroom equipment a plus.
- Strong focus on user support and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer equipment, servers, and smart classroom tech.
- Support local software installations and ensure license compliance.
- Respond to help desk requests and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Coordinate with IT staff and vendors for issues and upgrades.
- Configure access to file sharing and learning management systems.
- Develop user guides and training materials.
