Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate at a defined New Jersey worksite. You will drive retail sales by using a passion for cutting-edge technology and delivering exceptional customer service.

Expect coaching, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow your customer base through outbound contacts and community events. You’ll work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a base pay of $16–$21 per hour plus commissions up to $18,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Open to additional shifts to earn more income.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using your passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customer needs by connecting with customers.
• Present product insights and recommend complete top-down solutions.
• Close sales with effective communication and meeting customer needs.
• Grow through ongoing training and cross-functional exposure to merchandising and inventory.
• Engage customers via outbound contacts and at Verizon events.
