Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our in-store team. You will drive sales by connecting customers with cutting-edge technology and exceptional service, uncover needs, and provide top-down solutions. Compensation includes a base wage with commission potential and extensive benefits.

You will work onsite at a defined location and may be scheduled evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided to help you grow your sales career within Verizon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays; schedule released 4 weeks in advance.
• Open to picking up additional shifts, especially during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn customers' needs by building connections and asking questions.
• Present product insights and recommend solutions for a complete top-down sales approach.
• Close sales through effective communication to meet customer needs and goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and develop skills across merchandising and inventory.
• Potentially expand customer base via outbound calls and texts to Verizon customers.
