Job summary

Verizon is hiring for a full-time Retail Sales Associate. You will grow your career with a team focused on unlocking your full potential and sales success within one of our retail stores.

You’ll generate retail sales through technology passion and outstanding customer service, learn customer needs, and propose top-down solutions. The role offers the chance to earn base pay ranging from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour plus up to $18,000 annual commissions, with additional performance-based upside.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts to earn more income.
• Experience working in a commission-based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Potential to grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store at Verizon-sponsored events to expand the loyal customer base.
