Job summary

Verizon Communications is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow your career in one of our Deptford stores. You’ll use technology passion and customer service to expand the Verizon network, uncover customer needs, and present complete top-down solutions.

Base pay starts at $18.27 per hour with the potential to earn up to $18,000 in commissions annually, and top performers can reach $65,000 to $75,500 overall.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant sales experience or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to picking up additional shifts for more income.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using strong communication to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon events to expand the loyal customer base.
