Job summary

Haltech, Inc. in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Tech Sales specialist to drive sales and provide technical support for Haltech products, including engine control units and data acquisition systems.

You will be the point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, tickets, and web orders, with outbound check-ins to wholesale accounts. Travel (domestic and international) and some weekend work at racing events or trade shows are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
• 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training.
• Solid sales skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, database applications, and contact management software.
• NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Aftermarket engine management installation and tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and sales support to dealers and customers.
• Establish new accounts according to guidelines.
• Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls.
• Enter customer orders in ERP software using designated order entry practices.
• Provide problem resolution and troubleshooting to customers.
• Attend race events and trade shows as determined by management.
