Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Business Sales Representative for the Greater Detroit area. You will prospect for new customers, grow existing accounts, and tailor tech solutions to drive revenue while educating clients on Verizon’s business offerings.

The role requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills, with travel up to 50% and a mobile work model in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory in a mobile work model.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and qualify leads through cold calling, partner selling, campaigns, and social selling.
• Acquire new business and incremental revenue to achieve sales targets.
• Retain, manage, and grow existing customer accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
• Educate customers on Verizon’s business technology solutions.
• Create and present multi-product solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wireless, mobility, Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, Google platforms, and integrated software solutions.
• Track and report sales activity using CRM and sales automation tools.
