Job summary

JPMorganChase is looking for a Tech Risk and Controls Lead in Corporate Technology to identify and mitigate technology risks across a portfolio of applications, providing SME guidance to process owners and ensuring controls operate in compliance with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with product owners, business control managers and regulators to strengthen the firm’s risk posture, drive AI governance, and support risk-informed decisions for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on tech risk and controls concepts
• 7+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or related field
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support risk and controls workflows
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and financial industry regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to translate risk insights into business strategy for senior leaders

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and manage technology risk with root-cause analysis and remediation recommendations
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate evidence synthesis and draft executive reporting
• Apply AI governance in risk and controls assessments for use cases
• Build trusted relationships with technologists, assessment teams and data officers
• Monitor and improve control effectiveness, identify gaps, propose enhancements
• Champion reuse-first, AI-assisted control testing and issue management with auditability in mind
