Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Tech Risk & Controls Lead to mitigate technology risk and uphold operational excellence within the CTO Risk, Control and Regulatory team.

You will support AI4Tech initiatives, identify compliance gaps, and guide process owners and regulators with expert risk insights. You will influence senior executives, validate AI‑assisted risk summaries, and drive governance activities across control testing, issue management, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, information security, or related field.
• Experience using risk assessment, reporting, and governance practices.
• Ability to translate technology insights into senior management decisions.
• Familiarity with AI risk considerations and governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and manage technology risk; perform root cause analysis and provide remediation recommendations.
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate risk evidence gathering and executive reporting with proper validation.
• Build relationships with technology teams, data officers, and governance functions for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Govern controls, policies, issues, and metrics; provide senior management with insights on control effectiveness.
• Monitor control performance, identify gaps, and suggest enhancements to improve risk posture.
• Promote AI‑assisted, reuse‑first testing and ensure auditability and regulatory alignment.
• Demonstrate end‑to‑end lifecycle expertise from planning to scalable solution delivery.
