Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New Jersey seeks a Technology Risk & Controls Lead to design and operate technology general and application controls across multiple businesses.

You will partner with Product Owners, data officers, and regulators to report on risk posture and drive innovative solutions in a dynamic environment. You will oversee testing of IT controls, coordinate with external auditors, and lead a diverse team to strengthen regulatory compliance while leveraging AI to improve efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Big Four or top IT consulting firm, with planning/execution of IT Controls attestation audits.
• Exceptional issue management, analysis and problem solving skills.
• Experience using AI in risk/control workflows with strong validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review AI-assisted risk summaries before use and ensure security/compliance alignment.
• Proficient knowledge in data security, risk assessment & reporting with governance.
• Influence executive-level decisions and translate technology insights into business strategy.
• Strong program management and deadline-driven delivery capability.
• Communicate effectively with external auditors and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage technology risk with root-cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with technologists, assessment teams and data officers for cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead SOC-attestation readiness with external auditors and clients/regulators.
• Monitor control effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive enhancements for compliance.
• Lead readiness assessments to ensure controls are designed and operated properly.
• Oversee remediation work streams and assess effectiveness of solutions.
• Use AI capabilities to accelerate evidence synthesis and executive reporting, ensuring data security.
• Promote AI-assisted approaches while ensuring human review for auditability.
• Coordinate with x-LOB teams on responses to auditors and compensating controls.
• Communicate program status to senior management with consistent reporting and metrics.
• Develop guidance resources for Technology Risk & Controls and technology staff.
