Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Tech Risk & Controls Lead within the CTO organization to identify and mitigate technology risks and to guide governance and regulatory compliance across complex processes.

You will lead a diverse team, partner with Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and Regulators, and deliver risk insights that inform strategic decisions while driving innovation in risk management and controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field with focus on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Experience using enterprise-approved AI capabilities to support risk and controls workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations before use, ensuring security, auditability and regulatory alignment.
• Proven background in client-facing support, user enablement, or service delivery for a large and diverse user population.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate governance and technical changes into actionable guidance for end users.
• Strong process ownership and operational discipline to design, run, and improve repeatable support and notification processes with controls and documentation.
• Experience developing self-service resources (FAQs, job aids, training decks, knowledge articles, release communications).
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across risk/control, product, engineering, operations, and business users.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct user support at scale, owning intake, triage, and resolution of questions related to governance frameworks and Central Inventory system usage for a global user base.
• Own user-facing operations to manage and improve notifications, guidance, and support; embed controls, documentation, and auditability in day-to-day operations.
• Create self-service materials to develop training content, job aids, FAQs, and guidance to reduce repeat questions and improve user adoption.
• Drive change communications translating policy updates and system changes into clear, actionable user guidance with timelines and help resources.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, governance leads to troubleshoot issues, clarify requirements, and improve workflows and user experience; escalate risks with evidence and actions.
• Monitor support trends and use data to identify root causes and propose fixes like process changes or UI/workflow improvements.
• Maintain knowledge management and Confluence pages with FAQs, process flows, definitions, and release notes.
• Demonstrate disciplined risk and issue management with status updates to stakeholders and leadership as needed.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate synthesis of risk evidence and draft executive-ready reporting, handling data per security rules.
• Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to streamline control testing and action plans with human review.
