Job summary

RSM is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern to work with diverse mid-sized clients and gain hands-on experience in Technology Risk Consulting. You will collaborate with business owners and executives while developing your technical and professional skills.

The program targets students pursuing a BA/BS with expected completion in 2027 or 2028, emphasizing accounting or information systems. Travel may be required; CPA/CISA/CIA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS degree with expected completion by Dec 2027 or Jun 2028.
• Major in Accounting and/or related degrees.
• Major in Information Systems and/or related degrees.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Travel to assigned client locations may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
• Must possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
• Certification or working towards CPA, CISA, or CIA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in understanding clients' needs and design of controls.
• Contribute to internal control documentation for client engagements.
• Engage with client leadership on strategies to address technology risks.
• Support IT controls testing and audits for financial statement audits.
