Job summary

RSM US LLP offers a Risk Consulting Intern position designed to expose you to real-world risk management and internal audit practices across multiple industries. You’ll work with a Performance Advisor to develop professionally while gaining hands-on client experience with access to business owners and executives.

You will contribute to project work such as SOX/compliance engagements, SOC reporting, IT controls testing, and ERP/audit activities, while building strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed toward a BA/BS degree.
• Pursuing a BA/BS degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Majors in Accounting and/or Information Systems or related degrees.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients' needs, business, and industry.
• Assist in design and optimization of internal controls.
• Apply problem-solving to identify control deficiencies and advise clients.
• Assist in creating internal control documentation for engagements.
• Engage with client leadership on strategies to address technology risks.
• Support TRC projects like SOX/compliance, SOC reporting, IT controls testing, ERP audits.
