Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern to join our TRC team in the United States. You will work with mid-market clients across industries, gaining hands-on experience in risk management, internal controls, and assurance services while interacting with business leaders.

The role involves exposure to SOX/IT controls engagements, SOC reporting, and IT controls testing. You will develop communication, project-management, and teamwork skills in a dynamic advisory environment.

Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed.
• Working towards BA/BS degree or equivalent from accredited university.
• Majors in Accounting and/or related degrees or in Information Systems and/or related degrees.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Travel to assigned client locations may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
• Must possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist with SOX/regulatory and IT controls engagements for client engagements.
• Support SOC reporting and IT controls testing.
• Information Technology controls testing in support of financial statement audits.
• Engage with client leadership on strategies to anticipate emerging technology risks.
• Create internal control documentation to support client engagements.
