Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern to work with diverse clients across industries, gaining hands-on experience with access to business owners and executives. You will assist in designing IT controls, supporting internal audits, and engaging with leadership on risk strategies within TRC.

The internship targets students completing 90 credit hours, pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting or Information Systems, and maintaining strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed
• Working towards a BA/BS degree from an accredited university
• Majors in Accounting and/or Information Systems
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Travel to assigned client locations may be required; reliable transportation needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPA/CISA/CIA certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Work with various sized businesses across industries and gain hands-on client experience with direct access to business owners and executive management
• Assist in designing and optimizing controls and IT processes
• Engage with client leadership on risk strategies and internal controls during engagements
• Assist in creating internal control documentation to support client engagements
• Support TRC projects such as SOX/compliance and IT controls testing
