BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Associate in Technology Risk Assurance to support IT risk assessments and control testing. You will interact with client personnel, assist in audit engagements, and help develop strategies to strengthen controls environments.

Training and mentoring opportunities are available as you progress beyond the first year. Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and internship experience, with certification aspirations such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, or CIA noted.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, IS, or IT is required.
• Prior internship or work-study in information systems or IT auditing preferred.
• Active pursuit of CISA, CISSP, CPA, CITP, CIA or equivalent certification is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist in performing audit engagements and IT risk assessments.
• Provide input to improve client internal controls and procedures.
• Maintain relationships with client personnel to understand IT and business operations.
• Identify controls issues and help develop compensating controls and audit strategies.
• Document work in workpapers and support data analytics use in audits.
• Other duties as required.
