Job summary

Leap teams are accelerating data-driven decisions by building and owning a robust data platform and integrations. You will own the direction and delivery of the data platform, turning cross-team requests into well-scoped projects with clear milestones and acceptance criteria.

Working closely with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Analytics, Implementation, and Client Success, you will ensure data provenance, quality, and reliability while guiding prioritization and delivery for Leap's data

Qualifications

• Experience owning technical products or programs involving data platforms, infrastructure, or integrations.
• Experience managing intake and prioritization across multiple teams with competing needs.
• Strong SQL skills and enough fluency in Python, orchestration tools, and transformation frameworks to investigate issues and challenge technical assumptions.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake, ingestion tools such as Fivetran, and workflows built with Airflow and dbt.

Responsibilities

• Own intake process and maintain a transparent backlog.
• Translate prioritized needs into clear problem statements, requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams and external partners so work is ready to proceed when capacity is available.
• Define requirements for data provenance, freshness, and accuracy with data consumers and engineers.
