Job summary

Scientific Games seeks a motivated Technical Operations Engineer to join our Technical Operations team supporting lottery platforms. You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, and Testing to identify issues, implement fixes, and deliver enhancements across Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and WildFly environments.

You will participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation, monitor capacity, address security concerns, and maintain knowledge bases and runbooks to ensure reliable service for

Qualifications

• 5+ years in system administration in high-demand environments.
• SME level knowledge of Windows Server with administration, configuration, and diagnostics.
• Basic Ubuntu Linux and scripting familiarity.
• Experience with SQL Server, AlwaysOn, replication.

Responsibilities

• Provides tier 2 support for lottery platforms.
• Support new customer implementations and maintain existing solutions.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with system availability, latency, or performance.
• Ensure system capacity is monitored and considered in planning.
• Address system security concerns.
• Ensure incidents are managed within SLAs.
• Define, refine, and track Service Level Objectives.
• Setup and maintain monitoring; document alarms in Knowledge Base.
• Create and maintain support documentation and procedures.
• Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
