Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Tier 2 or similar technical support role.
• Proficient in Bash scripting and Ansible for automation and troubleshooting.
• Strong Ubuntu Linux system administration and configuration.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL experience for queries, optimization, and issue resolution.
• Python scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware) and SAN storage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 production support for real-time transaction processing platforms, coordinating with Tier 3, development and QA teams.
• Monitor system health, including database and server utilization, and manage resolutions for incidents.
• Automate common tasks using Bash, Ansible, and Python to improve operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues, database optimization tasks, and server anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve platform issues and implement enhancements, with thorough documentation.
• Handle user access and identity management tasks related to SAML-based SSO.
