Job summary

NU Advisory Partners has been retained to lead an SVP, Information Technology for a private equity-backed, multi-site services company. This is the first senior technology hire to define and execute a modern tech function with autonomy from scratch.

The role focuses on selecting technology bets, build-vs-buy decisions, and aligning CRM/ERP tools with a distributed workforce, while driving AI strategy and post-close integrations across sites.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Southern California.
• Experience leading technology at a similarly sized organization or as a major program owner.
• Experience in distributed, multi-site workforce environments (field ops, plants, on-site service).
• Proven track record turning complex initiatives into actionable plans that ship value.
• Leads adoption of new systems, not just deployment.

Responsibilities

• Pick technology bets that move revenue and margin.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions for key systems.
• Set direction for CRM and assess scheduling, service management, and billing tools.
• Define AI strategy and drive production integration.
• Consolidate and modernize cloud and infrastructure stack.
• Retire legacy ERP and design modern replacements.
• Involve in deal diligence and post-close integrations.
• Ensure IT fundamentals work as org grows across sites.
