Job summary

Ramp is building the travel platform that powers global corporate travel. We seek a leader to grow and mentor the Travel engineering team, owning delivery across search, inventory, quotes, checkout, policy evaluation, and post-booking services.

You’ll drive reliability with external partners (GDS, suppliers, TMCs), collaborate with product and sales, and shape the roadmap for AI-assisted, agentic booking experiences. Relocation to NYC or SF may be offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing engineers, team size roughly 5 to 15
• Hands-on when needed; Ramp is a builder culture
• Strong product judgment and customer communication

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, coach, and grow the Ramp Travel engineering team (~6 engineers today).
• Own delivery across travel management surfaces: search, quoting, checkout, policy evaluation, loyalty, post-booking servicing.
• Ensure reliability of a system with external dependencies: supplier APIs, GDS content, TMC/OBT integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Ops, Partnerships, and Sales on enterprise travel commitments.
• Set practices for AI-assisted development and ship agentic booking features.
• Hire and grow the team.
