Job summary

Ramp in the United States is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional engineering programs with executive visibility. You’ll bring technical judgment, create clarity, and own programs end to end.

You’ll lead initiatives across infrastructure scaling, reliability, and incident response, connecting platform and product teams, surfacing dependencies, and guiding execution. Your AI perspective will shape how engineering works.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program management experience in a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Ability to execute while improving how the broader team works.
• Track record of building trust quickly across teams.
• BA/BS in computer science, engineering, information systems, analytics, or related field.
• Strong systems thinking across architecture, product, compliance, and timelines.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs toward ambitious goals with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead large technical programs across engineering and partner teams, from infrastructure scaling to reliability and incident response.
• Connect platform and product engineering teams, surface dependencies, and drive execution.
• Own programs from scoping and kickoff through delivery, measurement, and retrospective.
• Partner with engineering leaders on roadmaps, identify overlaps or dependencies, and align with goals.
• Help engineers and teams communicate business and engineering priorities across the organization.
• Strengthen Ramp’s incident response program by improving processes and retrospectives.
• Define how TPMs work at Ramp by creating playbooks and improving program practices.
